Delete your DishVish account

1. Open DishVish and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to Profile → Privacy choices.
3. Optional: tap Download my data to keep a copy first.
4. Tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

If you last signed in a while ago, we ask you to sign in again first, so nobody else can delete your account from an unlocked phone.

Email support@dishvish.com with the subject "Delete my DishVish account", from the email address you sign in with (or tell us the phone number you sign in with). We may ask you to confirm the request, so we don't delete someone else's account. We reply within 24 hours and delete the account within 7 days of confirming it's yours.

Deleted straight away

• Your sign-in account, profile, username, photo and bio
• Social Kitchen posts, photos, comments, likes, saves, follows, follow requests and blocks
• Saved recipes, meal plans, Kitchen Journal, pantry lists, streaks, XP, credits and quests
• Health details from the Meal Planner, and your privacy choices
• Notifications and usage records linked to your account

Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days. Unused credits, free Premium days and referral rewards are lost.

If you choose Delete after 15 days, your profile is hidden and you're signed out everywhere straight away, and the list above is deleted when the 15 days are up. Signing in again before then cancels the deletion.

Kept because the law requires it

• Invoices and payment records for website purchases: kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
• Partner programme tax and payout records (partners only, including PAN and payout history): kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.
• The record of which terms you accepted and when: kept as evidence of the agreement for as long as a claim could be brought.
• Reports about content that endangered a child may be kept and shared with the authorities where the law requires.

Kept records are restricted, not used for anything else, and deleted when the period ends.

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on dishvish.com. It does not cancel subscriptions bought in the app stores. Cancel those yourself:

• Google Play: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DishVish → Cancel.
• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DishVish → Cancel Subscription.

• Posts and comments: open the post or comment and choose Delete.
• Health details: turn off Health data in Profile → Privacy choices, and clear them in the Meal Planner.
• AI, analytics and personalised ads: turn them off in Profile → Privacy choices.
• Anything else: email support@dishvish.com and tell us what you want deleted.
